Object Storage Service:Use CloudMonitor to monitor OSS metrics

View bucket metrics

1. On the CloudMonitor - Object Storage Service page, select a bucket name.

2. View the monitoring data of the bucket.

   Note

   You can query monitoring data of the previous 30 days. You can specify the time range in which you want to query monitoring data.

   Query dimension	Monitoring chart description
   Monitoring Service Overview	You can view the following charts on the Monitoring Service Overview tab: Availability/Valid Request Rate, Total Number of Requests/Number of Valid Requests, Traffic, and Request Status Distribution.
   Request Status Details	You can view the following charts on the Request Status Details tab: Number of Server Error Requests, Server Error Request Proportion, Number of Network Error Requests, Network Error Request Proportion, Number of Client Error Requests, Client Error Request Proportion, Number of Valid Requests, and Valid Request Proportion.
   Measurement Reference	You can view the following charts on the Measurement Reference tab: Storage, Metering Flow, and Number of Billing Requests.
   Average Latency	Average latency of GetObject, HeadObject, PutObject, PostObject, AppendObject, UploadPart, and UploadPartCopy requests
   Maximum Latency	Maximum latency of GetObject, HeadObject, PutObject, PostObject, AppendObject, UploadPart, and UploadPartCopy requests
   Successful Request Category	Successful requests of GetObject, HeadObject, PutObject, PostObject, AppendObject, UploadPart, UploadPartCopy, DeleteObject, and DeleteObjects operations

View the bandwidth usage of the resource pool

1. Log on to the CloudMonitor - Object Storage Service Resource Pool page.

2. View the bandwidth usage of the resource pool.

• View the bandwidth usage of a resource pool

  Click the Overview tab, select a region and a resource pool name, and you can obtain the bandwidth usage of the resource pool.

• View the bandwidth usage of a requester in a resource pool

  Click the Requester tab, select a region, a resource pool, and a requester UID, and you can obtain the bandwidth usage of the requester in the resource pool.

• View the bandwidth usage of a bucket in a resource pool

  Click the Bucket tab, select a region, a resource pool, and a bucket name, and you can obtain the bandwidth usage of the bucket in the resource pool.

• View the bandwidth usage of a BucketGroup in a resource pool

  Click the BucketGroup tab, select a region, a resource pool, and a BucketGroup name, and you can obtain the bandwidth usage of the BucketGroup in the resource pool.

You can also configure alert rules to monitor OSS resources. If an alert is triggered based on the alert rules, CloudMonitor sends an alert notification to you. This way, you are notified of the status of your resources and can handle exceptions at the earliest opportunity. For more information, see Use alert service.
